Girl Scout Highest Awards

Have you ever thought about a problem you have encountered and wondered how you could make a difference to improve (or solve!) the problem?

The Silver Award, the second-highest award in girl scouting, is a take-action project where Cadette-level girls scouts find an issue in their neighborhood or school that they care about and then design a project to try to solve or help the problem. To earn the Silver Award, girl scouts spend a minimum of 50 hours on their projects:  Researching issues they care about, making observations and collecting facts, speaking to experts, planning their projects, and then implementing their action projects.
